OTA Antenna/Reception

Can you post your tvfool report?

TV Fool

also the UHF says only 35 miles....with that little I'd worry honestly. I guess the tvfool report will help us but I picked up a HBU33 from Radio Shack (when they carried it) for my stations in Minneapolis which are 29 miles way and it works great

Here you go

TV Fool Although I don't know my AGL, I want to mount this to the pole that my dish is on currently(somehow) is that possible, so I don't have to screw it onto the house.

Since your reception is going to depend largely on the height that you have you antenna installed, just how tall is your pole that the dish is on? Is it a pizza dish mount? A picture sure would help.

Its dark/wet out so, I can't take one currently, and it is a pizza dish mount, it goes up about half my height and I'm 5'8

I'm not sure the question was how long the mast is as much as how high is it mounted? It should be able to pickup YOUR locals.

Not sure from your answer whether it's in the ground or mount elsewhere which will make a different, your probably going to need to at least buy a 5 or 10 foot mast section to get the antenna up as the pipe size on the dish mount I believe is close to 2" which may prevent attaching some OTA antenna's directly to it, something you should check before buying.

I would highly recommend mounting this at least ten feet off the ground. It is a big antenna and the elements would be dangerous to you and your family at eye level. If you have to mount it at ground level install a pressure treated post into the ground with concrete and attach the pole to the side of it. This should be enough to get all the elements out of reach.
