A few questions, never ordered a UFC PPV with Directv before.

I used to have charter cable and a tivo. I could always tivo UFC PPV's and keep them forever. Can I dvr a UFC PPV and keep it forever?

If I order the PPV on one tv can I DVR it and watch it on a second tv in a different room if I have whole home DVR?

#1 no

#2 yes or order via the net and all your receivers will get it anyway.

Seriously, NO to #1?? Do they give you like 24 hrs on this? I don't understand why since tivo you could keep them forever.

yep the PPV rules changed (or are now being enforced) a while back "Pay Per View" and they ALL DOING THIS this; 24 and sometime 'MAYBE' 48 hours, but no more until you delete it.

I know they changed movies to 24 or 48 hours. I hadn't heard that "events" was changed as well.

Anyone have first had experience that can confirm that?

I would think paying $60 or so for an event that you should get to keep it for future viewing.

taken from the experience of my neighbor and his last PPV WWe event.. he said he only got it live and then "free" for the subsequent replays for the following 24hours. I would never assume that any PPV was unlimited viewing as that goes against the core concept of PPV and their pricing models and recent rules changes/schemes.

i have the last ufc fight taped from lesnars last fight still on my dvr :)

I recorded WrestleMania 27 last year and it's still on my DVR (recorded) and I can still watch it..

I have a tivo unit full of UFC's but I am no longer a tivo customer. They are all saved on the tivo and I watch them all the time.

I did call D* and asked if I ordered the UFC PPV if it could be viewed from all the tv's I have connected to D* and he said yes. Then I asked about how long it stays on my dvr and he said 24 hours.
