Ordering adult shows

I've never really heard of this Xtv. Can someone who has it give us a review ? Does it work well through a cable modem ? How is the programming ? Is it like the Playboy channel, Exctasy channel, etc. ?

It works off of broadband. I currently have a computer hooked up to broadband. I would have to get a router and put it on the Cablevision modem. I called Cablevision and I can get a discount on the router from CompUSA if I mention my account#.

XTV just streams all the movies right? Do you pick the movies you want to see or is it like ten it just plays whatever movies 24/7 what is the pay per view thing they have. Do you have yo pay extra to see that or is everything 30 bucks a month. What channels do they have?

Xtv's technology sure sounds great. It could probably be built into all TVs without too much trouble. The content could range from X-rated to family and enable mainstream broadband movie delivery.

I never understood why the box price was $0.00 at dishstore but the xtv.com site says it's 99.95...

I subscribe to Playboy and Extacy. I ordered the monthly options so it doesn't pop up on the "Purchases" selection. Paperless Billing and autopay, combined with the "Locks" enabled to keep the kiddies from accidentally tuning to them keep me out of the doghouse.

My wife knows I get them, but just doesn't want to be embarassed by someone using the remote and stumbling onto them.

It's not about "growing a pair", but just about being sensitive to other people's feelings.

Sounds like a good approach for privacy and protection. I think the "growing a pair" comments goes out to the guys whom your situation still wouldn't be tolerated by the lady of the home, so they sneak around like a little 16yo. PR0N = bad, evil, disgusting, pigish, etc.

I have both options at my disposal. It gets very old searching through a newsgroup looking for your particular type of movie. I have gigs and gigs of movies from newsgroups but having XTV at my disposal is a much better choice for me. Luckily my wife is an avid watcher also and we prefer to have many choices than trying to find what other people are posting to the groups. Don't get me wrong now, USENET is a huge source of anything a person could want, but some are not as savy or have an ISP that can't retain binaries for more than 3 days and suffer from major incompletes. I use a 3rd party newsgroup service that gives me over 30 days of retention, but having it at your fingertips is more convienient for me.
