Anyone have a suggestion on what dish might be best?
according to the website:I think you have to pick up a dish separately since it's sold with the install and not included with the receiver.

Right, but what dishdude was saying, is that he is going to self install. This is if he buys a receiver and buys a dish elsewhere and does it himself.according to the website:
The $150 Standard Install Package includes delivery and installation of the satellite dish and TV antenna, along with up to 100 feet of wiring to one room.
So it appears the dish, TV antenna and 100' of wiring is included in the $150.00 install.
Correct. The $150 professional install package is a great deal because it also includes the dish, LNBF, diplexer and off-air antenna.according to the website:

I am going to have the pro install next Tuesday and will report on the process and experience.

That will be great to hear. I'm particularly interested in to see how your signal strengths are on the smaller Orby dish. And also if they install any "wings" to support the dish.
BTW- my next door neighbor moved out and now I may have access to a Slimline dish I could mount on the roof for this purpose.
Did he give it to you before he left, or you planning on a "midnight requisition?" LOL
p.s. if you take it off his roof, please roofing tar patch the lag screw holes! A can is available at your hardware store, and it's cheap. A wood paint stirrer stick makes a great spreader.
If anyone has had the installation done that included the outdoor antenna could you post a pic? I'd be interested in seeing what that antenna looks like.
looks like a slimline dish to me. dont like like there is any skew to it???
It does need to skew as Orby has linear transponders [horizontal-vertical] unlike the other pay providers that use circular transponders for the main satellite. With a motorized dish the skew is taken care of as the dish moves. With a fixed dish you still need to skew for maximum quality with your signal meter by rotating the lnb in the holder if there is no skew adjustment on the back of the dish.
