I have an Optoma HD70 Projector, featuring Full HD 720p (1280x720 native resolution DLP), with HDMI.
The projector natively supports 720p, and also displays 480i, 480p, 1080i, and 1080p in addition to computer formats.

It is a great projector for HDTV, as the lens is designed for 16x9 HD.

Here is a full brochure from Optoma with lots of information:

The projector bulb is good for at least 3000 hours at standard brightness. I have used 1050 hours at standard brightness. The bulb should last you at least 2000 hours before a replacement is needed.

I paid $1000 for the projector a few years ago, I am asking $350 plus $10 shipping for it.

Includes Projector, Manual, Power Cable, HDMI Cable, Remote.

Will ship via USPS Priority Mail or UPS Ground, whichever is cheaper. Payment via Paypal Please.

Please send me a PM if interested:

I have not looked at projectors for a long time, so please forgive the stupid question of does optoma use a major brand lamp. As in am I going to have issues trying to find a replacement after it burns out or does it use a name brand like phillips ?

Optoma makes the lamp, every projector uses a very specialized lamp. Optoma is one of the top brands in projectors and have been very steady and reliable. They still sell lamps for their projectors going back ten years plus. There are also generic lamps on ebay and other sites, though for a projector I would always recomend the original. That all said, I do not believe you would have any trouble finding bulbs for a long time.

Exactly, upgraded to the HD33 which does 1080p and 3D.

Excellent projector the HD70, does 720p native and shows 1080i/p at the 1280x720 resolution and looks great.
I used it at 120" for movies and sports and always enjoyed.
