Unfortunately my receiver only has one optic fiber input (kind of old). I have an 811 and and DVD player that only have optic fiber outputs, no coaxial audio outputs. Two devices vying for one input (sounds like my life back when I was single.) So right now I have the 811 connected via optic fiber for the sounds and just sucking it up on the DVD and going RCA. Is there such a thing as an optic fiber y-cable or an inexpensive optic fiber switch box? Thanks - Art

Radio Shack has a cheap fiber optic switcher for I think $15. I got one a few months ago.

It's a turn dial one, so you will have to physically switch it when you want to go from your 811 to the DVD player.

Hmm..... I may have to order that one, as I hate having to get up to manually switch between my Directv receiver and my Xbox.

Thanks for the link!!

Radio shack had a splitter with no switch and it didnt work. It seemed as though the 811 always has some type of signal going through the toslink cable so even when off, it would hog it and wouldnt allow the other device to get through. I had to return mine.
