Older King Tailgater Question......

Hi, I have an older tailgater that only aquires western arc sats. I am heading to Pennsylvania. Will it work there? Or do I need one that will get eastern sats??
Worried about the cost of a new one

Depending on which part of PA you'll be in, you may be able to pick up locals on 119. If you give me a zip code, I'm happy to check.

Don't care about locals, don't need a satellite dish for that. I'm concerned with satellite channels. I will be near Lancaster PA.

That will depend on line of sight, but of course you can get WA channels in Pennsylvania. Western arc does not equal only viewable in the western part of the US.

As long as your line of sight to the WA sats is not obstructed by trees and your current receiver works with the lnb, etc.
Go to www.dishpointer.com and enter your PA location and the 119W satellite.
Looks like elevation is about 26.5 degrees.

Ok I put in the actual position I will be in and got the attached.....

Switch the satellite data to 119W or 110. You have it set for 180E

I ran it for you and got this for 119
Elevation 26.3
Azimuth 233.7
