I've got a couple 4 year old Sony stbs I'd like to use for other rooms in the house. I'm currently getting zoomed by Voom (out of biz) so I was hoping to use these. Will they still work for SD?

I think they will but you'll need new cards. I still have a really old Hughes box up and running.

I just reactivated my 5 year old Sony A50. But I had been sent a new card so I did not have any problems.

yup, they should work. just need new cards from D*.
