I'm going to be trying an FTA install this weekend. Fortec Lifetime Ultra, and an DirecPC dish. Someplace I heard that newer coax is rated for higher frequencies and that for some applications that older stuff might not work. The coax I intend to use is RG6 that came from a Digital Satellte Source Dish Network self install kit circa 1999. Is there a way to tell? Should this work?
Also, for a stationary setup, it looks like G10 has lots of channels. Are there other satellites people would recommend?
I'm in southern Arizona.
Thanks.
