I think I have the above satellite dish in my backyard.
I was talking to user 'Anole' about it about 2 years ago, and I can't find him.
I woulod like to get it out of my yard and am willing to take $100 for it.
I have attached pictures.
Thanks,
Soulfilly

Hey, I've been hiding! -

There were two (?) in San Diego I inquired about.
I guess they both fell through.
As it turns out, I later found a BV about 20 miles from me.
It was just off Beach & the 405. (Fountain Valley?)

Interesting dish you have there.
Not really a Birdview.
Might want to post some pictures of the back side.
Make sure it's not in shadow when you shoot it.
Looks to me like a three-segment fiberglass job.
Never saw one of those! 3? -

Thanks Anole,
Here is another picture sort of showing the back.
The house was built in 1975, but I don't know when the dish was installed.

It's an 8 foot Prodelin, the actuator is a JGS, and the STS SR Block brings back so many good memories. It was a great receiver, and my first block receiver. I got one in 1984, along with a Kaultronics Trans 10. The AA Actuator controller was a good controller, and will work stand alone. And the dish ain't shabby either... :)

Nailed it! That mount looks like its built like a tank!

Why not keep it? Get a free to air receiver, and upgrade the lnb on it! You might be able to get by with whats on it. I don't know.
