Hey gang decided to keep dish even with the over compression and such on locals, I still like the value over DTV.... OK here is the question. I have a dvr 501 on my big screen it is duplexed *I HOPE THAT IS THE RIGHT TERM* to my bedroom TV. I want to add a second receiver in my bed room so I can have 2 boxes. currently if i use my UHF remote to change channels on the 501 all TV's change that is why I want a second box for my bed room..... and not interfere with the dvr recording on the big screen, What do I need and do I need to add a second turner *switches etc. and where is the best place / price for a new or used 301 or 311 also which model is better.

You've got to give us a LOT more info. Start with a complete inventory of the existing outdoor gear.

OK. All you need is a RG-6 feed from the unused port of the DP-Twin to the location of the new receiver. As for what kind, 301, 311 doesn't really matter.

You can use dishstore.net, or heck, I've got a clean 301 right here.
