Ohio State vs Flordia for the National Championship

Well now,
I have watched the ESPN match-up episodes with Lee and Kirk talk about the OSU - Fla game and it looks like Flordia is the team to beat.
They are better than OSU in every area except the Punt and FG teams, according to what I have see them say.
I think they only mentioned OSU, mentioning that Ginn and Harvin were on the same level.

So appearantly, Ohio State is not going to the game.

I was watching todays, I have missed some, but today it was all FLA, which is fine.

i can't imagine herbie kissing the gators butt!! his love for ohio state is so biased i even emailed the espn ombudsman!! there are some basic things i learned in journalism 101. we all know he played for the buckeyes and graduated from there. he shouldn't do color analyis for ohio state games or play by play.

I thought Herbstreit did a pretty good job being unbiased during the OSU - Michigan game. You should try to listen to a Michigan game with Grieese doing the color analysis. He is one of the most biased guys I have ever seen. I also can't remember the guy's name that did the OSU Michigan game with Herbstreit but he is also very biased toward Michigan when he does their games.

You should hear Herbstreit on the radio around here. He has not said one bad thing about the Gators so far. He has definitively given Florida the credit they deserve for making the game.

I am sick of him having to down play the Bucks all year long, he never has good things to say about them.
btw, he's not as biased as Trev Alberts(was) or Mark May are against them.

There are others that obviously root for thier teams as well.
Brent Musberger roots for who ever is winning, I am SO glad that Musberger is NOT doing the National Championship game.
Musberger and Davie were the other ones doing the OSU/ Mich. game.
Herbstreet must not have done too bad, I think I recal him NOT giving the Bucks credit during that game too.

I agree. NCAA basketball does the same crap. But football just has too many ridiculous bowl games. And 3/4 of them no one wants to watch anyway. Some of these teams in these bowl games are lucky to be 6 - 6.
