Problem is, they likely will never be able to get everything they want.If you go by the analogy of what is happening in music and book publishing, the networks represent publishers and cable and satellite providers are analogous to book or record stores. In the not so long term they are in serious trouble unless they can manage to provide some sort of value added to the content they sell as people go directly to the content producers or sites such as Amazon where people can get what they want completely ala carte.
