Don't miss it folks! It's one of the greatest comedies with the absolute greatest cast of all time, and it's in HD!

OETA movie club movies are great to tune into every week. I have been tuning in since I was kid. Used to stay up with my grandpa and watch the movies. It was great when they went HD a couple of years ago.

I got the sadoun 31" motorized dish kit as a gift. Will it pick up the PBS stuff good? I have the pole plumb and ready just waiting for the weather to get better.

radar, please excuse my lack of knowledge. if i wanted to try to see oeta. is that the only time normally? never heard oeta. i have limited l.o.s. issues but would like to attempt to see it.

Great movie! I scanned AMC21 a few days ago and I believe OETA was gone. Perhaps I just missed it.

You must have (or your receiver must have) missed it. It is still there and strong.

Should be just fine with that dish from your locale. I think.

This (the whole 125.0°W sat for PBS) is a must for FTA, I would try hard to get it dialed in as they (all the PBS channels provided here) are a great addition to your FTA finiings. I recommend taking the time to pull this satellite in. It is well worth it.

It's one heckuva movie!

There are movies that are classics in their genre, and then there are movies that are far above that. This movie is definitely beyond "classic" status! It is an honestly, wholesome, clean, fun and hilarious adventure! If you missed it, you will have another opportunity:

OETA Movie Club
It's A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad, World
Friday, January 21 @ 11:11 pm on OETA

(This should be 11:11 PM CT)

You can Google OETA MOVIE CLUB for other upcoming flicks!

Yep, I caught Pink Panther before falling asleep. Unfortunately it is now Spring Festival month starting Tuesday, so no movie club or any other regular programming for 3 weeks, I think. Just special programming.

Oh bummer! I wish they'd wait on that for another couple of months. Come spring through summer I will be outside, fishing. Call 'em up and tell them to wait until I have gone on my trips! LOL

I had forgotten how much I liked Peter Sellers in the Pink Panther movies. I died laughing in "Strikes Again" when he was disguised as the old German dentist. He was sniffing the laughing gas and his fake nose started to melt! LOL! Why are you laughing? I don't know, I just can't help myself! Why are you laughing?

Ha! Better yet, when he was trying to get into the castle over the moat and through the drawbridge entrance! Ha Ha HA! How many times did it take him before he finally got in?

What is really unique about the Pink Panther movies is that, starting from the very first, Peter Sellers' character of the bumbling detective Clouseau wasn't supposed to be the main character. The first movie was intended to revitalize David Niven's movie career and introduce Robert Wagner. But, Seller's Cousteau was so hilarious that they focused on his character as the main theme. I have to admit, the Pink Panther series must qualify under the BEST comedies ever category. I just loved it!
