I came across a really weird one. I was programming the TV and AUX modes of my remote over the weekend, and found that the manual is missing a couple steps. First, when programming any mode I had to press the button I was programming, then press 1, and then enter the code. The AUX mode instructions were also wrong. The manual indicates that you need to press and hold AUX, then the press the button for the type of device, and then enter the code. AUX mode programmed the same as TV mode, press and hold for 3 seconds and then enter the code preceded by a 1.
All is good now, but I though I'd share this in case anybody else has the same problem.
