I had an old version of the lnb for dish 500 with two older version receivers that required smartcards - at times and pretty infrequently my picture would breakup on certain satellites. I upgraded to the dish plus system, one receiver and no smartcard 3 - 4 months ago and NEVER had a breakup. Recently, Dish sent me a smartcard that they said was no required. I installed it and almost immediately breakups started happening again. Nothing has changed since the upgrade. My signals are good, my cabling is relatively new. I watch a channel on and off for several hours without interruption in clear weather, then at some point and for several minutes, breakups start happening. Eventually, they stop, but it happens now on pretty much a daily basis. Any clues? Thanks in advance.
