I do not think the digital transition would mean that All American cuts off the networks for those qualified. Isn't there a difference between "analog" and "digital". Does not have to be HD to be digital???

The law allowing distants is written for analog distants. It is not clear when the analog OTA channels are cut off what happens. The TV stations of course (represented by by the NBA) do not want distants at all, so it will be hard to get a new law clarifying it passed.

Um... NAB... not NBA But the NAB does want you to jump through hoops to get distants so I guess that is where the NBA could join in.

Still have NYC HD locals in Wilkes Barre/Scranton PA area. I guess I am in the foot print still.

All is good in Lehigh Valley area as well. Thank the Gods we live so close to NYC.
