Does anyone know why Dish is no longer broadcasting the Mets games on SNY in HD? The guide says that tomorrows day game will be in HD but their upcoming night games are all SD only.

because Dish doesn't take RSN's in HD seriously, limited bandwidth

meanwhile we get crappy HD channels like BETJ, World Fishing Network and CBS College Sports

Yea, I noticed that too.

Unless for some reason the game wasn't broadcast in HD, they appear to be rationing out their bandwidth. This is one of the tradeoffs you have with Dish versus other providers (e.g. DirectTV, CV, FIOS).

It was broadcast in HD.

Yea, sorry, I noticed your post after I responded. I pretty well figured they ALL are broadcast in HD, just covering my bases. :)
All Mets games are in HD, so all broadcast on SNY are also in HD. Whether or not Dish carries the HD feed is a different issue.

There is apparently an HD "squeeze" with Dish this time of year, with MLB / NHL playoffs / NBA playoffs all going on at once. Hopefully as NHL and NBA finish up a higher percentage of HD feeds for MLB games will get on Dish.

NESNHD always have all their games on but I noticed the other nite, has the game went on the video started to lag like E* was bit starving the feed to add another HD channel on the transponder maybe for another game had to switch to SD feed.
