One thing the installer did that surprised me was substitute the curved arm with a straight one. They said in their experience with a dish this size it holds it's posistion better over time.

What arm? The arm that holds the dish it self or the LNB arm?

didn't have time to look very closely but the numbers appear to actually be up. tp19 was up around 66 any time i looked at it this evening. yesterday was overcast. i really think drops are a thing of the past.
