This happened to me before and I was told by Scott it would not happen again, where I posted in the DirecTV forum, absolutely nothing about Cord Cutting , stayed on subject, no rules violations, yet my posts kept getting deleted and the thread said YOU HAVE INSUFFICIENT PRIVILEGES TO REPLY HERE.

Well, happened again today, someone posted in a DirecTV thread about hoping that the Watch ESPN app does not go away also, I posted in there that Disney plans on that after the ESPN Streaming Service starts up, just like all the other TV Everywhere apps that are now gone, because of Disney+.

How I had that info, because I worked for them until last May, also pretty obvious since all of the TV Everywhere apps are being shut down because of paid services.

Now, post has been deleted, says this YOU HAVE INSUFFICIENT PRIVILEGES TO REPLY HERE.

No warning, no message saying I violated rules, which I do not do, nothing.

This is the thread-

it's a different post (which I never even had a chance to look at before it got removed).
I am not seeing it or anything in the logs. I am the only one who can "hard delete" things. If someone else deletes something it is still there just hidden from public view (aka a soft delete)

Bruce only has one post there and I can see it and it is available. (Although his info is wrong, Bruce is confusing the DIRECTV ESPN app with the other general apps you would find on other platforms like Roku, Android TV etc... this was something built in the DIRECTV software.)

As I wrote, it was placed back after I started this thread.

I copied YOU HAVE INSUFFICIENT PRIVILEGES TO REPLY HERE.direct from that thread.

No, a member was confused about what app, I posted the Watch ESPN app is not going away until the standalone ESPN service is available.

Do you shut down old threads?... maybe a default setting that closes an inactive thread after 6 months or so

It was placed back after I complained and the thread no longer says YOU HAVE INSUFFICIENT PRIVILEGES TO REPLY HERE.
Bruce, weird stuff has happened off and on with this site, whenever and for whatever reason. You KNOW that (or should)!

Why fly off the handle right out of the gate with a public rant post, before simply pm'ing Scott OR another mod, and ask what happened? They usually pm you IF they do something like this.

My post here is not an attack on you, so don't start thinking that, it's a legit comment and suggestion to you IF it ever happens to you again.

Because it keeps happening, when it happened before, multiple times, a mod was purposely doing it, as I was told from another mod.
