northwest???

I was driving the other day and i saw a new dish on someones house and it was facing northwest. What satellite could they be getting? It was in the middle of Fla.And I know it was facing NW because i have a compass in my truck and i was going south.

Aren't E* 1&2 are at 260 deg azimuth? Was that it?

Are you sure that you were heading due south? My car's compass takes a while to change from S to SE. You may have been at the threshold.

They couldn't be getting TV from a satellite facing northwest.... the Satellite would have to be over the equator in order to have a geosynchronous orbit.
