Noob Q's.. Would I miss out alot past 123W?

Hello all,

Im new to FTA and I was looking in to getting a system (Fortec lifetime Ultra+motor+FS80p) and I got up on my roof w/the inky to check for LOS around me. I have good LOS for 61.5 and east of that. But once I start getting down to 123W I start running in to a tree line. I can get down to about 260deg (on my compass) at about 18deg off the horizan. Looks like im good for G10R and maybe G12 (im in 06708 east coast) but past that its looking no no good. Would I be missing out on alot not being able to get the 130's?

There isnt really any FTA KU past 123, at least not that you would see on the east coast. BTW g12 is c-band only, you would need a larger dish than what you specified.

I personally have a pretty clear shot down to 140-something, but, I have no need for it, as there really is nothing FTA on Ku below 123.

Isnt "Angel Video" a Skyangel backhaul?

I forgot about the feeds on G13 @ 127, but thats spuradic at best.

I assume you ment G13 instead of G11 @ 91
