Nokia bought out motorola celluar division. This will give the #1 cell phone maker entry into the United States for their high end phones.

What will this mean for google android platform on motorola?

The handset and mobile device division stays with Motorola and will be spun off into a separate entity next year. This shouldn't affect Motorola's use of android at all.

Nokia gets the wireless backbone infrastructure that supports ATT, T Mobile, Verizon etc's.... mobile infrastructure systems.
