noise

i don't have a hd-dvr yet, but was wondering on the noise factor. is there a continuous noise (from harddrive or whatever) that would make it not good for use in bedrooms?

There is minimal noise. You can only hear it from 12" away if your really trying to hear it. Other words, Noise isnt a issue. I have one in my bedroom and I wouldnt even know its there. Dont wory about noise.
