For the past couple of years, I havn't used my 922 4dtv receiver since I've been using Dish Network. It's been plugged in, so I thought I'd see if I could still get a few analog channels and verify it was still working. Also, the time is never right. I could not get any analog channels. I moved to all satellites and checKed every channel, but nothing. I spent all day moving the dish in case it shifted, but still nothing. While moving the dish, I could see varations in the static, so I knew it was seeing the satellites, but I couldn't get a single channel, just static. Is this a battery problem? I'll try an unplug & reset, but I honestly don't think it will work. I really hate to pay $200 to fix it since it looks like the DSR-410 is taking its place. Until they get a receiver for big dish that gets as much as DN, it looks like I might as well sell this thing to Skyvision.

Welcome :wave

The 410 is not the same as your 922......not by a long shot. The 410 can only see one satellite (105W also called W5) whereas the 922 can see any of the sats out there and can subscribe to a lot more

You should be able to get a few analog channels even if the ID board is bad. The ID board is for digital. Try and tune in G4 16. That is Shepherd's Chapel and is at 99W (G4 now called G16) transponder 16 vertical polarity.

Or some critters are now living in the feedhorn. Whats Skyvision paying $ for a 922?

That or the dish got blown off the arc. I don't know what Skyvision is paying don't think it is very much though.
