Noticed a couple of days ago that Encore VOD had been removed. Way to go Time Warner! This reduces considerably the VOD choices that we had with Comcast. Can see already that this is going to be a real happy ride with TW. FIOS, where or where art thou?

they took away MTV Vod too.. which i used sometimes to catch up with real world road rules challenges.. I am getting DirecTV after our move

I always thought that a merger would result in better future services. I never believed in a million years that customers would lose channels they had the day before the switch occured. If you were a Comcast customer and became Time Warner Cable that customer should at least be able to keep the channels Comcast had that TWC doesn't offer yet at least until the original Comcast contract runs out. I can fully understand if all TWC markets didn't get those channels but they never had them to begin with. I think for the most part Time Warner Cable customers who became Comcast customers got the best of the deal while Comcast customers who become TWC customers got the short end of the stick right up their behinds.

IMO why the heck have an FCC if they can't protect us consumers as they haven't protected customers on this merger. That is what the FCC was created for and now they aren't even doing their jobs so why do we need them and pay taxes for them now.
