No Like/Thank/Dislike links

Why are there no links for liking/thanking/disliking a post, as shown in the screenshot ?

I made sure to include a post above mine that does show the links. I understand MY post won't show them - that's not what I'm referring to.

I have noticed this issue as well, and I see no rhyme nor reason to the disappearances. Some posts have them; others do not.

I dont know the answer for that, as I have seen that happen myself.

There are currently only two members who have their access to the likes system turned off for abuse of the likes system, but that is not the cause of this issue.

Sorry I wish I had an answer for you.

By the way Scott, I would really like a "dislike the message" link, and not the ambiguous "dislike" link. I hesitate ever to "dislike" the message, even if I hate it, because I probably agree that the messenger is right and just the bearer of bad tidings.

Nah these guys were having a dislike war with each other. They were told to stop and it continued so if they want to act like kids they get treated like kids. Something we hate to do, but sometimes we have no choice. It was that or send them packing and I didnt want to as both can be very good members when they want to be.

Always gotta be some in the crowd.good to know you can turn them off on an individual basis,instead of having to turn them off for all.

Along that idea, I get a "Dislike" for my OP above and have to ask myself "why ?".
