Hi all,

Has there been a disruption of service on 101w ? I’m unable to receive any horizontal channels, just the Daystar channel 4000V 4442.
All other horizontal channels on other satellites come in just fine.
Thanks in advance.

John

10pm. Watching Pappy and the sheep on Heroes. Both H/V coming in strong. Just cycled through signal finder and all looks good. Got bees in the lnb? 'Tis the season.
Hi arlo,

No bees in the LNB… the blue cap cover prevents that. All was fine until 2 days ago. Strange how the horizontal channels come in fine on other satellites.
Thanks for your response.

arlo,

After scanning this satellite 3 times yesterday and getting no horizontal channels. I just scanned it and got all horizontal except for 4180H 30,000.
Go figure…what changed from yesterday?
I didn’t do any work at the dish since this happened.

Don't really know. Black sheep was coming in well. I just tweaked my dish with the ASC-1 and looked at tvro tp lists.
So for reference, a quick rundown of signals in dB. It's raining pretty good here right now.
4005V 12.3
4020H 13.7
4030V 11.9
4048V 12.4
4060H 12.4
4080V 12.1
4100H 12.9
4120V 12.0
4140H 10.2
4160V 12.4
4180H 13.9

Edit:
My 'tis the season' was for bugs looking for a place to hole up for the winter.
But just thinking right now. Just like the sun is getting lower in the sky. In the past I've changed my dish declination around this time of year and then back to where it was in the spring.
Maybe?

Edit (yet another one):
Nope. Just grabbed the dish rim. Just as tight as it was back a few months ago when I put the ortho on.
