No HDMI output from VIP211 units

First...sorry if this is duplicate of earlier thread, which did not seem to go thru'

I have two VIP211 units which correctly feed both video and component outputs.
But neither seem to be outputing any HDMI feeds. I have both a Samsung and a Sony HDTV with HDMI inputs...
I have switched 211 units, cables, and HDTVs and no combination would display
a HDMI feed!

Is there a 'soft-switch' in the 211 setup which enables/disables HDMI outputs?

No, but try to make HDMI test in Diag menu.
