Please help a newbie decide what to do!
I live in Portland, OR, which is not one of the 24 cities D* announced would get HD locals this year. I've also read that the OTA tuners are disabled on the HR20-700. I currently have an HR10 (with a bad HDMI port
) and a 3 LNB dish.
Given all that, if I want to get an additional HD-DVR soon, should I get an HR10 or HR20? Is there any advantage to having the HR20 given that I won't get HD locals anytime soon? Is there MPEG4 content that I'd get if I buy an HR20 that I don't get now?
So my choices are:
1) HR20
2) HR10
3) Do nothing until at least the OTA channels are enabled on the HR20.
