No fees on 508 PVR service???????

Good Morning
I purchased a 508 for my mother a year or so ago but she did not use it because she didn't want to pay the monthly fees like I do for my TIVO. (Yes I offered to pay!). She is getting pretty old and doesn't understand how great it would be.
I was just getting ready to put it on EBAY and looked at some ads so I could get an idea of the price. The EBAY ads say there are no fees for the PVR service on the 508. Just the normal Dish monthly fees.
Is that correct?? I thought those companies charged for everything they could and then some more.

501 & 508 have no DVR fees
510 does
