No digital audio output

OK..just received the 2nd 811 from our friends at DN. Still no audio from the digital output on most HD channels. They claim they know the issues but they are unresolved. Is your experience the same as mine?

Some users have reported problems with certain brands of A/V gear. The 811 works fine with My Denon 3802. Check out the following thread.

No problems at all with my Sony AV gear.

Thanks for the link. It helped me to understand that some receivers have a problem with DD output. My Kenwood had no problem with the DD output on the Dish 4900 receiver, but it seems to not be able to decode the DD output from the 811
