I would say that the two are different, since Chapman is a relief pitcher. I am sure they are taking their time with him, just like Mike Leake.
 
With the Braves loss last the Reds now have the best record in the NL. Third best overall behind the Yankees and Rays. Who would have thunk it?

He will most likely be starter next season. That's what they have been grooming him this season for in the minors. I think they wanted to limit his innings and put him in the bullpen. This will work out very nicely I believe. 100+ mph heat out of the pen is an awesome weapon to have at your disposal.
