So, you probably would have considered buying one from someone for only a few dollars more than it would have cost you with tax, if they were even available in your area, which they're not.

I guess that was what the "sucker" thought who bought mine locally, and had no problem doing so. "Sucker" must be Latin for pragmatist.

Exactly. I would have but at the time I didn't know my son wanted one. But he isn't a little guy so he can have patience.
