Hello, complete newbie here who's been using Bell ExpressVu for 7+ years.

Our dish is the normal (18 inch I believe) Bell satellite. We currently have two SD receivers (3100 and 4100) connect to CRT televisions.

I have an HD TV which I just purchased a Bell 6131 HD receiver for. The setup picks up around 89% signal strength for 91. When I switch to 82, it shows 86% but it says in red on the bottom about an error. I'm not at home right now so I can't remember what it's about.

Is it possible to get both 91 and 82 on the same dish?

Here's my problem. The dish is three stories high on a hill with is covered with stones and snow on top. So trying to re adjust the dish is life threatening this time of year. My dish is not motorized either I don't think.

Is there a way to access both 82 and 91 or should I not bother and just return the receiver?

Thanks

Yes its possible to get both but you need the 20" dish that can see both 91 & 82. The 18" only can see 91 so when you switch to 82 it probably says "wrong satellite - ExpressVu 91"

The 20" has a spot for 2 LNB's and can be skewed (since the sats are at different parts of the sky the elevations are different).

Is there any other spot that you could put a new dish?
