I have two questions regarding HNIC.
1. Are there going to be announcers?
2. Will the games be in HD?
If anyone knows the answers, please post.

yes there will be...the Labour dispaute was settled

Last I heard some games will be in HD

A news article before the hockey strike said they were hoping to do the first game of HNIC in HD.

Haven't seen anything to confirm this. My guess is we'll find out in a few days.
