Six potential elimination games yesterday, and only one team survived. The Maple Leafs extended their series with the Blue Jackets to a winner take all game tomorrow.

After tomorrows game, the real playoffs start and typically, the 1st round of the NHL playoffs is a free for all ... higher seeded teams get beat quite often in the first round ... once the 2nd round and forward things tend to settle down.
I was soooo pissed during the last game. Had a 3 goal lead with 4 minutes left and had to go to overtime and then get a penalty and bang Toronto scored and I'm in depression mode. The Jackets have a good team and an excellent coach so Sunday will be another cardiac day.

Yep, Jackets blew a golden opportunity. Hopefully they get it done tonight. They’re all I got left to pull for now that the Pens slept walked through a second playoff in a row.
The Pens are like the yankees, you just expect them to be in there, its like a "right of passage".
Yep. Hopefully they rebuild a bit better this off season.
Can you imagine how disappointed the Oilers fans must be though? Had a great season going and pretty solid for the playoffs, then in this revamp barely lost a fourth seed spot to Dallas based on winning percentage. Would’ve been playing at home and now not even in it.

The Blue Jackets are clearly outplaying the Maple Leafs 1/2 way thru this one, but they need to bury a few of these chances they are getting ....

Toronto has had thier spurts and started controlling play for a bit ... they are coming on ...

Come on Jackets, rest, get your legs under you ... and SHOOT the Puck and people PLEASE go to the net when your guy is shooting.

Not liking the 3rd period so far ...
Jackets are forechecking for a few seconds and then dropping back, letting Toronto move into the zone without much issue ... I hate it when the leading team doesn't run any offense in the 3rd period ...
Good things rarely happen when doing that.

Columbus played a great Defense tonight ... goaltending was outstanding and the Blue Jackets move on, winning 3-0

Lightning DOMINATED the 1st OT, but the Blue Jackets blocked a ton of shots, played very good Defense, and we go to 2nd OT, just in time ... Jackets were DEAD tired at the end, and had Very little Offense in the OT period.
Only takes 1 shot Jackets ....
