Anyone have any idea as to why E didn't broadcast the Sabres/Ottawa game on Versus/HD last night?

It was definately broadcasted in HD - TW had it on in the Buffalo area. Looking at the guide, they list Saturday's game. Just wondering if there is a good reason...

Same here, I also heard that the companies that carry Verse/Golf in SD get the HD version free, so what is Charlie thinking.

The answer is quite simple. On Thursday and Fridays Versus does NOT use their own HD channel. Versus signed a deal with InHD (now Mojo) to carry Versus's HD feed for Thursday and Friday ONLY. Since neither DirecTV or Dish Network carry InHD (Mojo) neither DBS company can carry the InHD feed games.

All the rest of the NHL Eastern and Western Conference games will be on the regular Versus Feed or NBC.

You forgot to mention that Versus/InHD (Mojo) are owned by Comcast CABLE Company, and this was thier little "Back Door" way of flipping off all Dish users (Who are Hockey fans)

Seems like Thursday and Friday would be good days for Golf HD to occupy the VS/Golf HD channel.
