NHL.com Gamecaster 1200k feeds look better than Dish SD

Watching Detroit/San Jose the NHL.com video is clear and FSN-Bay Area SD on Dish is blurry and washed out.

Watching Detroit/San Jose the NHL.com video is clear and FSN-Bay Area SD on Dish is blurry and washed out.

I was watching the NYR v ATL feed from MSG in SD last night and it looked like crap. I turned to the Atlanta feed last night to watch and the picture was better from the same set of cameras from the MSG feed.

The only difference should have been the announcers. The video portion should be identical but there was a noticeable difference.

Is there a reasonable explanation for how that happens?
