I predicted this earlier in this thread. But ANYONE could have seen this coming.
WHY the difference ?
Why does the Hawks get an extra day rest vs if the Wings win ... That makes NO sense.

The schedule is beyond ridiculous. Both teams are getting at least a week off, but if the series goes 7 games they have to play on back-to-back nights. So hypothetically, Game 6 in Boston could go to double OT, and then both teams would have to catch a late night flight to Pittsburgh and play the next night??!! STUPID, STUPID, STUPID!!!
Okay, I've stuffed my pie-hole, put ice on my knee, and plopped down in front of the TV. Just like my brother's choice of his first two wives (hot bimbos with tig bits and ice nasses), the Wings' attempts to close-out the series were failures. However, again like my brother, the third time will be the charm! Wings are going ugly early tonight!!

One thing is for sure...I will be screaming tonight! Hopefully, my screams will be of joyous approval and not bitter disappointment.
That was a HUGE Penalty Kill for the Wings, if not just for the confidence of killing thier PP.
