With the exception of the first 12-minutes of the 1st period, I liked the way we played last night...aggressive on both ends of the ice. Of course, as you mentioned, we seemed to have gotten burned every mistake we make, which is very unfortunate. One things is for sure. We need to play with the same intensive if we hope to win in Chicago...and Jimmy is going to have to play out-of-his-mind fantastic.
Both winners who move on will have done so after playing a Game 7. That means that it's gonna be pretty evenly matched to go into the Conference Finals. WOW!
I'm tuned-in and ready for a big Game 7. Will the Kings win at home, as expected, or will the Sharks take one by surprise. I'll be watched the 2nd and 3rd periods in bed, but it should be a good game.
While growing-up, I'll bet we never imaged having so much fun in bed.

My Predictions...
Game 7s: Gotta like both home teams to hold home ice advantage. My heart says Wings, but my head says Chicago. I should go with my heart more often.
Boston vs. Pittsburgh: I like Boston better as a team and a city but, unfortunately, I don't see how the Bruins can beat the Penguins in this series.

While I agree that it doesn't look good on paper, many people (myself included) didn't give the Bruins a chance against Vancouver two years ago. Yes, the Bruins had Tim Thomas standing on his head in that series, but I think this Bruins team is better overall than the 2011 championship team. You could also argue that the 2011 Canucks team is stronger than this Pens team.
Good 1st period...surprised the Kings only had 3-shorts because they looked quite good during the 1st half of the period. First goals because HUGE after a scoreless 1st.
I hear Susan Boyle warming up off ice; 2-0 Kings after the 2nd...and I'm hitting-the-rack since LA has the game in the bag.
If the Wings don't win tomorrow, I think Chicago has the team to make it to the finals and beat whoever makes it there.
They are very solid.
