NHL 2013 Stanley Cup Playoffs

Very interesting segment on how the Stanley Cup has physically evolved over the years from a simple engraved silver cup, to a skinny/tall cup after teams starting engraving their names onto it, to the cup in its present form.

Just finished up a few light chores and now I'm settling back to watch the Bruins-Rangers game. Hey, did any of you know that Hagelin stinks on the power play?

Milbury crucified Tortorella for his Hagelin remarks on today's pregame show.

Nice day/night doubleheader of SC hockey. Rangers-Bruins will be followed tonight by Pens-Sens (7:30pm ET, NBCSN). Ottawa is in a virtual must win situation.

I know wasn't trying to crucify him on national television, and he pointed-out his many talents, but I don't think it was a good choice of words to say your plays stinks...especially a dozen or so times. You say his power play has been ineffective and and not up to the quality of the rest of his game, or some other nonsense, and move on to the next question. Of course, Milbury droned on and on about the statement (yesterday and today), which is a bit too much.

Regardless, we're tied up at one each after a very entertaining 1st period.

It doesn't appear that the Bruins are missing their three injured defensemen in this series. The rookie blue-liners have come up HUGE!!

They really are, but the pens are playing sloppy and lazy also. Tight game so far.
