Well its been since May 21 that my Scranton Wilkes barre locals were Uplinked, And still NOTHING!. Well NFL First game is tonight on NBC ,so I guess I have to "move"! Well, Philly this week ,or Maybe New York. HMMMM' Anyone else need to "move" because of this? Thousands of $$$ on HD TV's and No Locals in HD. OH BOY. Locals should be the first HD channels we should all have.

I've been considering "moving" because of the argument between the local CBS station and DISH. I still get that CBS station via OTA but don't get any guide data. I figure at least if I move I'll be able to get the guide data, as well as the other stations in actual HD.

Why don't you get the guide info on the OTA channels. I get them on all of my ota's on my 722.
They have a contract dispute right now. So all it says is "Important information press info" for that station.

So pretty much, in a dispute they block the guide data as well.

Now Charlie fights with local carriers as well. What the Heck?

Not trying to derail your thread but ...
This has been up there since July 3rd. When you tune to the station it just shows a slide saying that they are wanting a 130% increase. They used to have a nasty video with Eric Sahl saying how bad the CBS station is being. That's on youtube somewhere if you want me to find it. You can still get the OTA but without the guide data.
