I always liked JJ.
Unfortunately he never coached a team I could like.
What about Paul Brown? Coached The Ohio State Buckeyes to their first championship.
Annapolis grad issue. IMHO, the thing is that graduates of the service academies are among the best and brightest of their generation. Almost every one could be earning way more than a 2nd Lieutenant/Ensign makes at hugely important and meaningful jobs. Why should a guy get a waiver to play a ball game?
Barry Switzer was successful, to some degree in the Pros as well as College, then again, not recent.
Just my opinion, but I wouldn’t consider Switzer a success in the NFL. Yes, he did win a Super Bowl, but he inherited a LOADED team from JJ.

Gruden isn't a Great coach,, he Won the SB with Tony Dungy's Team.
There are a lot of SB winning QB's that were not all that good or at least Not Great.
Not exactly 21 news, but it is being reported that Amazon will contract production of Thursday Night football, which starts in 22, to NBC, meaning modified NBC graphics, NBC announcers , etc.

According to CNN, for the 2021 season, if an NFL game cannot be rescheduled and is canceled due to a Covid-19 outbreak among unvaccinated players, that team will have to forfeit and will be credited with a loss.
Not only would the game be forfeited, neither teams players would be paid, and the franchise can be held financially responsible.
It also sounds like they're not going out of their way to reschedule games due to an unvaccinated outbreak, but they'll exercise all their options on the table of it's a vaccinated outbreak. Made it clear there are no plans for a week 19 (there were tentative plans last year).
All these rules were agreed to last year, and NFLPA has informed players as much that they agreed to this then. Unions are run by majorities, and a majority of players are vaccinated.
Vikings just released an assistant coach because they wont get vaccinated.
