Truth is somewhere in the middle as usual. Sounds like a mix of lack of offensive production/opportunities and his injury came to a head while they were losing a game, and so did the team's patience.
Should have cut him after the suspension, give a problem so many chances eventually it'll actually be a problem you have to deal with.
Now it's potentially a much bigger problem for the Bucs / Arians if the whole 'forcing injured players to play' thing is in any way corroborated. So far though, the stories both are telling seem to be not an eternity apart, can see it mostly going away barring anything new at this point. Cursory NFL and union investigations, re-iteration of process / rights, etc. Outside of that there will probably be arbitration or legal bickering of his contract (cutting a player while injured typically triggers some things, requires an injury settlement, etc).
