Picked up a nexus 7 on eBay, got it updated to the latest (4.2.2) version, and am getting it set up.

Good little device, especially considering the money I paid.

I got my Nexus 7 through work, my iPhone loving fiance got one look at it and I had to get her one two weeks later. She's an Android convert now. You can find us every night on the couch or in bed together ignoring each other, heads buried in the tablets. Great battery life. What cool apps do you use? My favs are Transdriod and Torque, the main reasons I couldn't ever go to iOS.

What kind of prices we talkin'?

Lite-up time on my iPhone (which I use like a tablet) is 6-8 hrs, browsing via wifi at home.
What sort of times are you getting?

A mini-review might be something you both could collaborate on.

When I was looking for an expensive tablet last year, it was surprising how many came up short on features:
- GPS
- gravity/tilt sensor
- wifi
- compass
- removable microSD card
- reasonable built-in storage
- screen resolution
- weight
- etc



Friend just got Surface Pro @ $1200.
He was bragging about reading a book in bed on it.
The thing weighs a whopping two pounds!

Got this one for $160, it is the 16gb wifi version. Looked brand spanking new, which I was happy about, was expecting some wear being used.

Obviously have not had that much time with it, but so far, so good.
