Newbie question on OTA HD - Aghhh!

Ok - the new Sony is looking good but I cannot get and OTA HD channels here in Memphis. My question is this....Do I need a special HD Antenna ? Won't my OTA antenna work? I get local "regular" signals just fine but no 3.1 etc channels.....

Oh yea - I have the built in HD tuner.....

You need at least a multi-directional VHF/UHF but should really get a directional UHF.

Visit http://www.antennaweb.org

It will recommend an antenna and show you where to point based on your location. If you are in Germantown it will point different than if you are in Bartlett.

Most of the MEM towers are located at or near:

Had to push antenna on the remote - Local digital is here !!!!!!!!
