Newbie need help with viewsat s & q

I bought a viewsat vs pro and the signal and quality read good but are in grey and the screen reads no signal. Can anyone help?

what satellite are you aiming at? or trying to aim at?

what dish are you using?

what lnb are you using?

what are your antenna setting?

what switches are you using? if any

I am new at this and I think I am pointed at echostar 10 and 6. The signal and quality read fine but they won't appear in color.

You have S-video or component video selected, doesn't match whatever you're using , sounds like. You won't get much on echostar satellites. Legally, that is.
