My main purpose of FTA is to watch my teams' NFL game in another city. In this case, I'm in Florida and want to watch Oakland California Local Feeds.

I just want to know if this possible? I have heard conflicting reports of which
band C or Ku band, and that the technology only supports locals in my area.

I just want to know how feasible this is before I spend the money.

Thanks in Advance.

Seems other users are asking for NFL games. I assumed the NFL games would be over the air like they are in my local market.

Unless the team you want happens to be on a local channel that uses satellite for transmission, you are probably out of luck. Unless, maybe, the games you want are on a regional sports network , or a national sportschannel that you could subscribe to with a pay-provider. I doubt you'll find many freebies with NFL, or any other major sport, they are too money-driven now. Years ago I remember being able to subscribe to KTLA out of LA, on c-band, when it was analog. Not sure if they carry football or are available on any of the pay-providers. There might be occasional games on free-to air satellites but most likely scrambled (suspect they may use fiber for the raw feeds nowadays though).
