New Year, new local dispute

I wondered if there were areas of the USA not served well by OTA. in my mind I am seeing a tall expensive tower and high gain antennas in those areas.

There are many areas where no combination of antenna, tower and amplifier will work. Some of them aren't all that far away from the broadcast towers but their signals are ravaged by terrain.

Satellite TV services focused on people in "rural" areas and the inability to reliably receive TV broadcasts is no doubt a primary reason why. Until maybe around 2000, the only satellite TV I knew of was the big, 10' dish setups. Literally no one in cities that I knew had Dish or Directv.
